This spliced and diced Cobra body is just the shell to a bunch of battery packs and one Tesla motor (and a steering wheel). Sure, a bit primitive in its looks, features, and comfort.

However, while traditional automotive manufacturers struggle to produce EVs, innovators in garages are already pushing the limit to what's possible in the EV space.

I imagine the evolution of events like Cars and Coffee might look something more like what we see in these pics.

And the side pipes, they're just for show.
