Amazing fully restored 1963 Ford Thunderbird Convertible.
As the story goes, consumers wanted a convertible version of the Thunderbird that appeared as a two-seater. Therefore, Ford designed a rear cowling that would fit over the rear seats, giving the illusion of a two-seater and a very long trunk. There are eight actuators that run the rear trunk lid and convertible top. If one actuator goes bad mid-cycle, your convertible top could be stuck in a precarious position. Back in the day, knowing how to work on your car and trouble shoot these problems would keep you rolling down the highway. +++ Classic Cars, Automotive, Cars and Coffee, Market Research, Strategic Planning, Online Panel, Consumer Panel, Brand Love, Love Zone, Brand Health Gurus, Insights 4 Less, Quirks, Green Book
